The founder of the legendary Gandhi Group, which has established or helped establishment of around two dozens of technical institutions, Dr. Panda, even at 61 is still the flag bearer of the group. Dr. Panda is a multifaceted personality with exceptional qualities as a person as well as scholar. He is the man of intellectual integrity and humanism, a Gandhian , edu-entrepreneur, a human administrator, an ardent advocate, a social worker, a friend to the needy with a open mind and big heart. He has played each of his roles of life with immaculate perfection. A great inspirer and a warm personality have brought colours of rainbow in to the lives of millions.

A dream of yesterday is a reality of today. Comprising of so many institutions of repute, the group has reached unimaginable heights in the field of education. In turning the dream to reality, came forward Mr. Biranchi narayan Panda to join hands with the legendary figures Dr.Satya Prakash Panda and Dr. Chandra Dhwaj Panda.

Mr. B.N.Panda, a graduate in Agriculture, served the people of odisha inventing new methods of agriculture to yield better crops. His strong interest in art and social service prompted him to become a film producer and director as well as the editor of Odia daily newspaper and magazine. His contribution for the growth of the Gandhi Group is immense even if he is attached with his multifarious activities. Under his able guidance odisha’s first private college “Jupiter +2 Science College” is marching forward successfully.

Mr. Panda is a man of versatile persona. Simplicity blended with passion for success is his unique character, which acts as a beacon of hope for his followers. His humble association with fellow members has been a great asset for his large fan following. His execution of ideas to perfection has been the key to his success.

Dr. Jagadish Panda is a Master of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering. He is young, energetic and dynamic. He has 10 years of successful track record of working in Rourkela & Bokaro Steel plants modernization job, under the banner of Crompton Greaves, Kolkata. Being the trustee as well as a dynamic Director, he provides guidance to the organization on profitable growth. He is energetic, curious and inquisitive. Dr. Panda is innovative while also understanding resource constraints.

He is a man, one who consistently contributes, yet is sensitive to the opinions of others and supports decisions which are in the best interest of the intuition; a mature, sensitive, team oriented and communicative individual.

Though, being highly qualified in the fields of engineering & technology, his love towards children reflects in his passionate association with the Gandhi Public School too. His silent contributions towards the growth of the group are commendable.

Prof. (Dr.) M Muralidhara Rao, is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and delegated alumni of IIT Madras, NIT Suratkhal and Andhra University, who had spent more than 37 years in the field of Academics.
He enjoyed his teaching in every level across the nation and elevated to the post of Principal since 2001 and ratified by JNTUH, JNTUK as principal.
As Executive Core Team Member involved in Strategic planning and formulation of functional mechanism to transform JNTU-Kakinada as World Class University in 1000 days.
He guided many research projects and guided undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students to carry out their academic projects and live projects. Currently guiding a Research Project on "Experimental investigations of edible and non edible oil/blends for performance and exhaust GAR analysis for suitability as alternative to diesel oil under Research Promotion Scheme (RPS) by AICTE from 2012-13 for 3 years.
He has numerous publications in his credit, organized and attended no of international and national seminars and conferences as delegated members in the nation and abroad as well.
He always plays a key role in all progressive events and lead the team towards success as team leader.

Dr. N. V. J. Rao joined the Gandhi Group dating back to its inception since 1997. A hard task master and being a hard worker himself, he proved his mettle in almost all the administrative as well as academic departments.

For last 15 years his main motive is to help the students both in academic and non­academic problems and counsel them in shaping to be worthy in the present market conditions which helps both the students as well as the college.

He is responsible for providing leadership, administration and general oversight for the Office as well as the functional areas of Placement Services, Off-Campus and Community Relations, Student Conduct and Multicultural Student Development.

Prof. (Dr.) Radharamana Dash

Dr. R R Dash was a scientist at the National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur in the department of material processing for pretty long 36 years. A scholar of IIT, Kharagpur, his research activities were mainly in the area of Foundry Engineering, Powder Metallurgy, Ceramics Matrix Composite & Metal Matrix Composite.

He discovered a novel process for the manufacture of electrolytic iron powder from sponge iron fines which was considered a novel research in the international scenario. He published around 60 research papers in national and international journals and has 4 patents to his credit.



  • International Awards from America (MPIF and APMI), June 1998.
  • Foundation Day Award (Prof. V.A.Altekar Award) of National Metallurgical Laboratory for developing the best technology entitled “A novel process for the production Electrolytic Iron powder from sponge iron fines” in the year November 1998.
  • An Award from IIM held in Indian Institute of Science Bangalore for developing an innovative microstructure of iron powder, November, 1998.

Membership of the following organizations:

  • NML-Tata Steel Research Coordination Committee
  • Expert in the Powder Metallurgy Panel of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
  • He was a member of various professional organizations such as IIF Life member, Indian Powder Metallurgy Association.

He is at present guiding a number of Teachers and Students in Research and Development at GIET. His own field of Research at GIET is fractal images.
